Delivery Methods: EFT vs SWIFT

What is EFT?

Our EFT solution provides you with a more cost-effective alternative to international wire transfers, using a variety of in-country clearing channels rather than the SWIFT network. These channels are very useful, particularly when dealing with low value, less-time-sensitive cross-border payments. We have a broad list of available currencies within our EFT solution.

Benefits of EFT

Minimized transaction cost for your recipient (lifting fees and charges reduced)
Improved relationships with your vendor
Faster, immediate acceptance if account details are correct (and immediate rejection if account details are incorrect)

Limitations of EFT

You can't amend a payment once it is approved and sent out for delivery
You can't trace a payment
Countries have their own limitations of currency (see below)

Supported Currencies

Note: The Euro zone established SEPA in 2008 and fully implemented it in 2014. The SEPA region consists of 36 European countries, including several countries that are NOT a part of the European Union.

Current sanctions may prevent or delay wires regardless if the currency is supported.
